At a cost of Rs 43,999, the Google Pixel 7a "budget flagship" phone has made its formal debut in India. The smartphone Pixel 7a offers considerable photography improvements. It is powered by the Titan M2 security chip and the company's own Tensor G2 processor, which also drives the pricey Pixel 7 Pro and Pixel 7 versions. This indicates that the Pixel 7a has received an update similar to a flagship model, but at a far more affordable price.

In India, the Google Pixel 7a is now offered in an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. There are four colour options for the Pixel 7a in the US, including the newly leaked Coral hue. There are only three colour options available for the Pixel 7a in India: Sea, Snow, and Charcoal. The Pixel 7a will go on sale on the e-commerce site Flipkart on May 11 (today) for Rs 43,999.

The Pixel 7a's effective price is reduced to Rs 39,999 as a result of the launch offer, which entitles potential customers who use HDFC Bank credit cards to a discount of Rs 4,000. The new Pixel 7a competes with the previously released OnePlus 11R at this pricing bracket.

A 64MP primary camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera make up the Google Pixel 7a's dual camera arrangement at the rear for imaging. Several Pixel features have become household names, including Photo Unblur, Real Tone, Long Exposure, Magic Eraser, and Night Sight. NFC, USB Type-C, 5G, and Bluetooth 5.3 are among the connectivity possibilities.

The Pixel 7a boasts a 6.1-inch FHD+ gOLED display and has capabilities that were previously exclusive to Google's premium phones but are now accessible on a Google A-series phone. The Pixel 7a now has premium features like face unlock, a 90Hz display, IP67 dust and water protection, and wireless charging.

The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features a hole punch cut-out in the middle that houses a new 13MP selfie camera with up to 4K@30fps video recording capabilities. The Pixel 7a sports the same famous Pixel camera bar as the company's flagship Pixel 7 and 7 Pro in terms of appearance. The dive also has Android 13 and Google Pixel OS.
