Poor English and Hindi Openings for Naga Chaitanya's Custody

In the Telugu States, Naga Chaitanya's Custody debuted with pretty typical ratings for noon episodes, and what's more unexpected is that the figures continued to decline for the subsequent shows. Even the reservations for night shows fall short of expectations. Custody did not generate much attention before its release in Tamil, which accounts for its meager openings. The movie's openings were influenced by subpar buzz and poor reviews, which led to a significant increase throughout the weekend. Otherwise, it will probably become a huge box-office flop.

The movie Custody is Hero Naga Chaitanya and Director Venkat Prabhu's first-ever cooperation. Arvind Swami, Sarath Kumar, Krithi Shetty, Priyamani, Premji, Vennela Kishore, Sampath Raj, and Ramki are among several notable actors who play pivotal roles in the movie.

Illayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja wrote the background music and music for the movie. They both worked on this movie for the first time, with SR Kathir handling the cinematography. The Telugu States' theatre owners had high hopes for Custody's performance, but based on the buzz and first-day numbers, it appears that such aspirations were unfounded.

The narrative centers on Shiva (Naga Chaitanya), a conscientious police officer who aspires to carry out his duties with integrity. Shiva has a plot one night to prevent his girlfriend Revathi (Krithi Shetty) from getting married, but on the way there, he gets caught up in a fight between a criminal named Raju (Aravind Swamy) and a CBI officer named George (Sampath). Shiva locks both of them in a cell without knowing who they are. An attack on the police station causes tension just as Shiva learns that George is, in fact, a CBI officer. In revenge, Shiva kills the thugs and flees with George and Raju. What then transpired? Does Shiva succeed in getting the perpetrators punished as planned? How does IG Nataraj factor into this situation? The rest of the story is formed by the answers to these questions.
